A Gorgeous Fall Wedding in Cashiers: Where Blue Skies Meet Mountain Views
A crisp autumn day in Cashiers, North Carolina, filled with blue skies and blue accents. Florence and Marcus said “I do” in a gorgeous fall wedding that perfectly blended natural beauty with personal touches. This wedding at Chattooga Club was perfection!
A Setting Steeped in Memories
For Florence, an Alabama native with deep roots in North Carolina mountains, the location was more than just a beautiful venue. It was a place brimming with cherished memories of summers spent at Camp Merriwood and time spent at her grandmother’s home.
The bridal party’s preparations set the tone for the day, taking place at the family home where Florence had spent precious time with her grandparents. From the very start, it was clear this wasn’t just a wedding – it was a celebration of family, history, and love.
A Ceremony Bathed in Autumn Splendor
As guests gathered for the ceremony, they were greeted by the warm embrace of the autumn sun, tempered by a gentle, invigorating chill in the air.
Thoughtful Details for Comfort and Style
Every aspect of the day had been meticulously planned, with the couple and their planner, Julia Nicole Events, leaving no stone unturned. Cozy throws awaited guests in the reception area, promising warmth as the evening cooled. A white tent housed the dining area, where heaters stood ready to chase away the chill as guests dined and watched the sun dip below the mountains.
A Night of Music and Dancing
As the fantastic Emerald Empire band took the stage, the reception truly came alive. The dance floor quickly filled with joyful guests, the music and laughter echoing against the mountain backdrop.
Personal Touches: A Tapestry of Family History
What truly set this wedding apart were the numerous personal touches woven throughout the day. Each bridesmaid wore a hairpin crafted from lace taken from the bride’s mother’s wedding dress – a beautiful nod to family history. Florence herself wore her mother’s earrings and a truly special dogwood pin that had belonged to her great-great-grandmother and namesake. The pin, with its sapphire center perfectly complementing the blue accents, was proudly attached to Florence’s stunning wedding dress, bridging generations of love and tradition.
A Fairytale Ending
As the evening drew to a close, the newlyweds made their grand exit under a canopy of sparklers. They hopped into a golf cart adorned with lush greenery and beautiful blue and white flowers, the perfect exit for the couple!
Florence and her Marcus’s wedding day was more than just a beautiful event – it was a heartfelt celebration of love, family, and the magic of the North Carolina mountains.Vendor Team
